The big news for winter 2011 is the scheduled release of the long awaited triple CD Album titled "The Legend of Texas Red", which should be available by December 10th, 2011.

"The Legend of Texas Red" is the story of a boy who was born in Birmingham, Alabama in 1844. Red narrates his own life before each song on the CD so you can follow his trail across America and listen to how he became know as "Texas Red" the man.

J.D. Blackfoot fans have always enjoyed how a J.D. lyric could take them on an amazing road trip filled with laughter one minute and tears the next. "The Legend of Texas Red" is the road trip of a lifetime, and is J.D. Blackfoot's crowning achievement as a masterful story teller and musician.

The triple CD Collectors Edition of "The Legend of Texas Red" will be numbered 1/250 thru 250/250 and they will sell for $65.00 U.S. which includes shipping within North America. Outside of North America the price will be $75.00, which includes shipping.

The number 1 of 1/250 will be auctioned off on this website December 10th, 2011.
