Young seeker came knockin' at the old mans door.
He wants to know just what this vision quest is for.
He's got a bad attitude and shows no remorse for his crimes.
And he's all but been captured by the alcohol and the times.
     But the old man stands his ground.
     And he brings the horses round'.
     They take a ride into The Black Hills,
          he knows someone they must talk to.
     The boy grows weak and pale.
     A dark shadow blocks the trail.
     The old man cries out "Grab the truth you know,
          it's the only thing that can save you".

The young seeker stood frozen by the warmth of the light.
Shinin' from the dark haired beauty with her eyes that split the night.
She takes him by the hands and she walks into the clouds.
And the young one starts to tremble, as the old man cries out loud.
     "Do not show the fear you hide, the sacred one is by your side.
     She holds the truth inside her heart,
          of the one gone long before you".
     "Oh, great warrior if you can, take my brother by the hand.
     The sacred bride of hope peace and love,
          she is bringing him to meet you".

Now lonely is the seeker who finds his greed was all in vain.
And stripped of all that's worldly, he feels guilty and ashamed.

     A horseless riders vision quest begins,
          and I've come so far to meet you.
