He was born in a Colorado snow storm.
     He rode into history and stayed,
But there was no question from the start
     that he'd be a renegade.

Had the mark of a handprint on his chest
     and the story spread throughout the land.
About this Colt they could not catch
     the one that they called Yellowhand.

One day he came upon an Eagle.
     Who fell to earth and there she stayed.
Said she was sent from the spirit world
     to look after this renegade.

And so the Eagle brought him knowledge.
     Of the many different colors of man.
But they all would become the enemies
     of this horse called Yellowhand.
